Our first and greatest command from God is to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind (Matthew 22:37-38). Ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. The "first love" is for Jesus. Praise is a calling given to every believer.
"This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise."

The band and singers, and worship services all provide avenues to lead us into praise and worship, both as a body and individually.
